COMMITTEE REPORTS

HOSPITALS AND INSTITUTIONS:  No report. No concerns.

COMMUNICATIONS:  No reports, no concerns

LITERATURE:  We received our big literature order. We still need to order some 10 minute chips. We can get multi-colored chips from Crossroads. A check bounced from one of the groups - Marty will follow up. A donation was deposited into the literature account, and Marty will transfer the $50 to the Intergroup account.

WORLD SERVICES:  Our reserve is fine. The conference is coming up this weekend in Albuquerque, NM. There may be some people who cannot attend because of the high altitude and economic conditions. The surveys regarding Gender Neutrality was recommended not to be brought up for a vote, however, the 11th tradition may be brought to a vote at the conference. We finally got the Newcomers booklet on line at this time in PDF format on nicotine-anonymous.org. World Services will also have a CD meditation. That will be voted upon in the near future. We will have 6 workshops coming up at the conference. World Services is working on PayPal issues. Gary put a motion in to add email to the online store so people can contact World Services. We have 2 delegates for this year’s conference. As far as next year’s conference is concerned, George O. got some estimates for hotel accommodations.

EVENTS: Jane is working on the annual retreat in Joshua Tree. There have been quite a few people who are interested this year. We have about 12 people who have committed so far, but we need 20 people to commit or we will have to cancel the retreat. Please contact Jane H. at (323) 852-1518 if you are interested in attending.
George O. will contact George R. who is working on organizing the annual picnic in September but he can’t reserve it until April. Here is your chance to become an OFFICER FOR INTERGROUP!
